Pathology Collection Service

On-site pathology collection is provided by Australian Clinical Labs and is available every weekday from 8.30am until 4.30pm, and Saturday from 8.30am until 12.30pm. There is no pathology collection on Sunday or public holidays.

If your doctor considers it necessary for you to have tests, you will be given a pathology request form. You register your arrival for a test by taking a numbered electronic card from the automatic queuing system located near the collection room. Please present your request form to the pathology collector when your number is announced.

The pathology service can perform routine blood and bodily sample collection, Electrocardiograms (ECG), post-gastroscopy breath tests, bowel cancer screening, ambulatory heart rhythm monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

No appointment is necessary but please be aware that some tests require prior preparation such as fasting, may take an extended time to complete, or need pre-booking. Please discuss this with your doctor or the pathology collector if you have any queries.
